recognition of the 25th anniversary of the martyrdom
of Father Stanley Francis Rother, Edmond artist Charles
"Chuck" Ackerly created the front cover of
this issue of the Sooner Catholic. A graduate of Saint
Gregory's University and the University of Central Oklahoma,
Ackerly created the pencil illustration taking images
from photographs that captured bits and pieces of Father
Rother's ministry in Guatemala.
