Turning Gifts into Light

You are the Light of the World seeks to address important needs in the immediate future. The campaign accepts gifts in a variety of forms:

Cash Pledges - Three to five year pledges are recommended. Donors who pledge determine remittance schedules to meet their own charitable or tax needs.

Appreciated Securities - Stock is considered cash by Tou are the Light of the World. A donor can reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes through a gift of appreciated securities.

Bequest - A bequest is a gift made in a will. Donors can give a certain item, a specific amount or a percentage of their estates.

Life Insurance - Tax savings can be gained by assigning ownership of a Life Insurance policy to the Archdiocese.

Life Income Gifts - Through a number of "planned gift" options, an individual can place cash, securities or other assets in trust and continue to receive income.

A Lasting Gift - Just as you have been generous in your lifetime with the support of your Church, please consider a gift to your parish/Archdiocese in your will, trust, retirement plan, or other estate plan.
