The certification of Catechists and Youth Ministers
consists of a course of study including Adult Faith Formation.

The course has been developed and published
by St. Gregory University, Shawnee, OK.

The five Workshops are:

I. Principles of Catechesis

II. Human Development and Learning Needs

III. Creating Community and a Positive Learning Environment I -
    Principles of Evangelization and Community Building

IV. Creating Community and a Positive Learning Environment II -
      Faith Expression and Development

V. Creating Community and a Positive Learning Environment III -
      Leadership Development

The course of study consists of 18 modules, designed for use by small groups in the local parish community. The study modules examine various aspects of Catholic spirituality, theology, and ministry. Each module will consist of two booklets, one containing reading maerials and a second containing the questions, readings and prayers for goup study sessions. Topics for these modules include:
