The following appointment has been announced
in Rome April 10 at noon (5 a.m. CDT):

Most Reverend Anthony B. Taylor, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has been named
as Bishop of Little Rock, Arkansas, by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI.

The Mass of Ordination will take place in Little Rock, on Thursday, June 5^th, 2 p.m., in the presence of Most Reverend Pietro Sambi, the Apostolic Nuncio.

Congratulations to Bishop Taylor on his appointment as the seventh Bishop of Little Rock!  Please remember him in your prayers as he prepares for his new responsibilities.
